Flower Mound medical development breaks ground.

New medical office space in Texas construction begins.

The Flower Mound medical office development in Texas broke ground today. Once completed the building will consist of 84,000 square feet of medical office space and span three stories.

The development will be located next to the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Flower Mound, Texas. Running the project will be Dallas based company Rainier Medical Investments.

“The quality of this project is confirmation that the new hospital is quickly proving to be a viable anchor for our goal of making Flower Mound a medical destination,” commented Flower Mound Mayor Melissa Northern.

The new medical park is expected to attract specialists from areas such as urology, oncology, cardiology, general surgery and obstetrics.

The project has begun with the construction of two buildings, the first will span 60,000 square feet and the second 15,000 square feet. Phase two is expected to begin next year with the construction of further office buildings.

In other Texas office space the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) have taken up new office space at 3102 Maple Avenue.

The charity have moved into 2,200 square feet of office space in Dallas. CFF have taken up space in The Weitzman Group Building which spans six stories and also features an underground parking complex.

During negotiations CFF were represented by John Bielamowicz from Henry S.Miller Brokerage whilst the landlord were represented by Bill Knopick of The Weitzman Group.
